Boston, MA, September 28, 2022 – Riverside Partners, a private equity investment firm, announced that Chris Remy has joined its portfolio company Convergence Networks (the “Company”) as its CEO. Chris succeeds co-founder Mat Lafrance who will continue as a board member and focus on employee development and engagement.
Chris joins Convergence Networks with over 25 years of technology management experience. Most recently, he was CEO of Mobile Technologies (MTI) where he led an organization that provided 24/7 technical support to some of the largest retailers and OEMs across North America.

Prior to MTI, Chris was Chief Corporate Development Officer at Merix Corporation where he streamlined company-wide processes and integrated multiple acquisitions. Before that, he was an executive at Accenture assisting clients to achieve their strategic goals by leveraging technology and people. Chris received a Bachelor’s in Economics from Willamette University.
